There’s exciting news for technology fans at Mecca Bingo this month, as the site is giving away £250,000 in June Jackpots. Just imagine all the gadgets you could get with this amount of cash in your bank account!

Technology has advanced in leaps and bounds in the last few years, especially when it comes to gaming, smartphones and tablet PCs. Unfortunately though, the price of all the latest devices and gadgets has also shot up, although most gadgetry geeks don’t mind coughing up to get their hands on the coolest, most sophisticated technology on the market.

If you’re a fan of all things techy but you’re sadly lacking in some vital funds, you really should consider joining in the Mecca Bingo promotion. Once you’ve signed up and funded your account with a tenner or so, you can play between 7pm and 10pm every night.

There is a total of £8,500 per day to win with Mecca Bingo this month, and there’s no reason at all why you shouldn’t get your hands on some of the cash. You never know – the next time you play online bingo, it might be on the LED backlit, high resolution display of an iPad 2!

In the current economic climate, more and more people are taking part in the UK National Lottery and giving themselves a glimmer of hope that they can enjoy a wealthier lifestyle. As National Lottery tickets are so affordable to buy, they’re well worth the purchase- after all, you could spend just a pound and win an absolute fortune.

Several years ago when the UK National Lottery first began, lottery players had to wait for Saturday evening to come around and perhaps bide their time with scratch cards. Times have really changed though, and there are now more draws and more ways to win- which can only be a good thing.

One thing which lots of UK National Lottery players aren’t aware of though is that their lottery options aren’t restricted to this country. National Lotteries are popular all over the globe, and what’s more, even when you’re based in the UK, there’s nothing stopping you from taking part in lotteries elsewhere.

Brazilian, Canadian and American lotteries are a small selection of your options, with American lotteries in particular presenting you with a lot of choice. Many states within America hold their own lotteries, so you’re not confined to one big draw. This means that you can give yourself several chances of success.

If you’re a little puzzled as to how you’re supposed to take part in these lotteries when you live such a long way away, there’s really no need to be. The wonder that is the internet enables you to purchase your tickets online with speed and ease, and checking lottery results over the internet is also simple.

Now that you can see that the UK National Lottery isn’t the only option you’ve got, there’s no time like the present to switch on your computer, log online and start playing the games which so many other countries have to offer. You really do never know when or where your luck might be in.

Check out the Alottery.com web site if you are looking to buy lottery tickets for the Florida Lottery.

The recent launch of 3D TV has added another experience to our home cinema entertainment, but is 3D TV for the long term. Many will not realise that 3D has been around for the last 60 years and became very popular in the 80′s and 90′s when the IMAX cinemas were opened. Since the launch of HD TV there was little new in the world of home cinema, TV’s themselves have adapted around HD TV providing sharper picture quality. However how can 3D TV be adapted without increasing the size of TV’s. To gain a true 3D experience users currently need to sit about 2 feet away from their TV screens, and lets be honest the average person is not going to invest into changing a wall in their living room into a 10 ft screen.

Vodafone is planning to make the cost of using Smartphone abroad much cheaper. Data roaming charges when using your Smartphone abroad can result in you receiving an unexpected bill the following the month. As smartphones keep you permanently connected to your favourite social networking sites as well as keeping you connected to news and weather updates, it means there is continuous data roaming. Occasional travellers can use Vodafones domestic data plan which is £2.00 per day. Vodafone plan to increase the sales of smartphones and offering an affordable data roaming package is an important step forward.

A satellite has been launched with an aim to provide people with internet access in rural areas across Europe. Avanti will begin testing early next year then the plan is to provide internet access with speeds up to 10mps to people in areas where fixed line broadband is unavailable. If successful there are further plans to launch a larger satellite in 2012. The monthly fee for these services is expected to be in the region of twenty five pound per month and will be available through sixty different providers. The service is already very popular in Scotland where nearly a quarter of a million people receive their broadband over an Avanti satellite.

Motorists in Britain could in the future use Twitter while driving using new hands free technology from Ford.

The system enables applications such as Blackberries and iphones to be controlled by peoples voices. The “App Link” reads updates such as ‘tweets’ out loud whilst the car is in motion, although it does not allow the driver of the vehicle to respond.
Fords SYNC system (hands free technology) can also read out text messages. The new technology is expected to appear in Ford focus cars in Britain, prior to being installed in other models. No doubt it will lead to further debate about the use of mobile phones and hands free kits whilst driving.

It will be coming out in February 2011 and that is only in Japan! The rest of us will have to wait a bit longer, so if you were hoping to get one for Christmas, then I am afraid you will be very disappointed. The 3DS will include a home button which enables its users to go back to the home screen and use alternative system features without having to shut down their game.

Could you imagine a world where, if you were unfortunate enough to be involved in a car accident, instead of relying on an eye witness or yourselves calling the emergency services, the actual car itself potentially could ring them if it was involved in an accident?
This is due to potential sensors which could be embedded in vehicles going forwards, which could give out vital information such as how severe the crash is and how many people are in the vehicle at the time.
The motor industry is constantly evolving and it is exciting to hear what could be in the future, especially if it is going to make our travel safer.
